'Enviro' Reflector

The HAWKeye series’ reflector system has been specifically designed to fit the dimensions of a tennis court. Our newly developed ‘Stepped’ forward-throw reflector not only minimizes glare and unnecessary light pollution, but also optimizes light uniformity on the playing area, ensuring visually appealing lighting for players, coaches and spectators alike.

LED Panel & Heatsink module

Most LED floodlights rely on secondary ‘plastic’ lensed optics. These are encased directly over the LED, which refracts light into hundreds of points, which increases visible glare. These ‘plastic’ moulds can also be prone to oxidization, a chemical process that not only absorbs valuable light but can also prevent heat dissipation, thus depreciating the life of the LED chip. The HAWKeye series uses only the native LED chip without secondary optics, thus improving energy efficiency, light precision and product longevity.

LED Power Supply

The LED driver is the heartbeat of any high-power LED floodlight. The HAWKeye series utilizes the industry leading power supply from MEAN WELL which provides a reliable dual mode constant voltage and current output. It also features a built-in active power factor correction function and 4kV surge protector.

 

Two LED drivers are securely installed within the serviceable enclosure module located in the rear mounting module and combines for a maximum 640W power output, which is well above the nominal operating output of 500W. This ensures greater reliability and longevity of both the LED chips and drivers.

Every tennis court enclosure is different, and the HAWKeye series provides the flexibility to tilt the LED/REFLECTOR assembly either ‘up’ or ‘down’ to optimise and control the lighting distribution on the tennis court.

LED Technology

Our light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are solid-state devices that convert electric energy directly into light of a single colour.
Our LED’s employ “cold” light generation technology, in which most of the energy is delivered in the visible spectrum, therefore our LEDs don’t waste energy in the form of non-light producing heat.

 

By contrast, most of the energy produced by an incandescent lamp is in a non-visible portion of the spectrum. As a result, both fluorescent and HID lamps produce a great deal of heat.

It also features a built-in active power factor correction function and 4kV surge protector. Rated IP67 for ingress protection, Dimmable (0-10V) and wireless switching (optional).
  • The Heatsink module is constructed using anodised aluminium fins to remove heat generated from the light source and enhance lighting, brightness, efficiency and reliability.
  • HAWKeye's TWO PIECE BODY utilises the latest CNC manufacturing processes to create light fittings with high impact resistant toughened glass, modular components for ease of serviceability. HAWKeye fittings are IP65 weather rated & corrosion resistant.
  • The ENVIRO reflector is manufactured from high purity pressed aluminium and designed to provide uniformed forward-throw with wide lateral beam light distribution.
