Tally Ho Tennis Club
Located in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, the Tally Ho Tennis Club has been a staple of the local community, with excellent facilities and strong membership. In 2009, the club added a Championship Show court featuring a 1000W Metal Halide lighting system.
In 2016, the club decided to upgrade the lighting on their "showcase" Championship court. The upgrade had to be better and brighter whilst remaining energy efficient and cost effective. To ensure optimal playing conditions, the lighting system had to provide consistent uniformity and minimum glare.
By installing HAWKeye LED light fittings, we were able to increase the court's lighting levels by 60% and cut their operating costs in half. Our HAWKeye LED fittings were directly retrofitted onto the court's existing poles, meaning that existing poles and mounting brackets didn't require any modifications and that labour costs were kept to a minimum.
The new HAWKeye fittings have been a hit with the club owners, coaches and members.
