Yarraville Tennis Club
The Yarraville Tennis Club is located in Melbourne's west and is one of the region's busiest tennis establishments with a thriving club membership.
The club committee wanted to improve the club's facilities by replacing their previous energy sapping metal halide lights with the energy efficient HAWKeye 500 LED lights.
Work on the courts commenced in the morning and by the same evening, members were training and competing under lights three times brighter than their previous ones, ideal for a club of their popularity. Additionally, the club can rest easy knowing that this increase in brightness has also made way for a reduction in power consumption and no ongoing maintenance costs.
